OUR PURPOSE

The Canadian Institute for Social Leadership & Development (CISLD) is a federally incorporated Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to leadership development, international cooperation, community engagement, education, and social impact initiatives. As the official social impact division of Universal Woman, CISLD designs, develops, and implements programs that create meaningful opportunities for women, youth, seniors, and underserved communities while fostering international collaboration and sustainable development. Through strategic partnerships, educational initiatives, cultural diplomacy, and community-based projects, CISLD serves as a bridge between Canada and the international communities represented within the Universal Woman network.

Martha Pérez is the Founder and President of the Canadian Institute for Social Leadership & Development (CISLD). With extensive international experience in leadership development, public relations, event management, international cooperation, and social impact initiatives, she has dedicated her work to creating opportunities that connect communities, institutions, and leaders through meaningful projects.
